Growth Strategies

The sessions will be tailored to each individual and can be offered in your preferred format, whether this be online, face to face, outside, walking or using art.*

 An integrative approach using CBT & person centred modalities is preferred.

  • A form of clinical practice which is based on psychoanalytic theory and principles. It's a treatment modality that in many ways is quite similar to psychoanalysis, although often considered less intense.

  • Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a form of psychological treatment that has been demonstrated to be effective for a range of problems including depression, anxiety disorders, alcohol and drug use problems, marital problems, eating disorders, and severe mental illness. Numerous research studies suggest that CBT leads to significant improvement in functioning and quality of life. In many studies, CBT has been demonstrated to be as effective as, or more effective than, other forms of psychological therapy or psychiatric medications.

  • Humanistic therapy adopts a holistic approach that focuses on free will, human potential, and self-discovery. It aims to help you develop a strong and healthy sense of self, explore your feelings, find meaning, and focus on your strengths.

  • Integrative therapy is an approach to treatment that involves selecting the techniques from different therapeutic orientations best suited to a client's particular problem. By tailoring the therapy to the individual, integrative therapists hope to produce the most significant effects.
